Some are very clever fooling you, and that can be quite funny. But if they claim to have supernatural abilities, turn the brakes on.
This is a major point in my skepticism. I have found that I can't really trust my senses, and neither do you. There is no such thing as a "trained observer". We are all likely to make all kinds of silly mistakes, and therefore, one must always turn to scientific method.
